Around the holidays, regardless of which ones they are, I get the urge to celebrate visusally. Back in high school I had a mannequin head that could mount to the front grill of my car and it would wear a variety of decorations (Reindeer horns & mistletoe, Happy New Year party hat, Halloween mask, etc.) but now I knit my own decorations to wear for the day. On Valentine's it was a six foot long pink/rasberry scarf with the heart pattern found of Knitty's "cheesylove". I'd take a picture of me wearing it but it is far too hot in Texas right now, even indoors, to contemplate it.
