Almost over the Rainbow.....

I feel like I've been working forever and getting nowhere with my progress. Mainly because I keep starting new and more complicated knitted objects.

Like my Ruby Red Slipper sock. It is based on the baby slipper from Frog In Knots but with my own added twists. It is an adult sized knee high sock with red beading on the instep. It is probably way more complicated then it needed to be but I did it anyway. After it is finished I plan on knitting a beaded bow to go on the tip of the sock.

You can see the beads a little better in this photo.

In other news I chopped off all my hair.

That sock is brilliant. Oh, how I want socks like that!

Your new hair looks great. Does your head feel lighter?

Thanks! I'm almost done with the first sock too. I just need the toe and bow.

My head feels so light its like I'm floating on a cloud.....

I LOVE the socks I want some, too. Ana thinks I'm crazy. hee hee hee!

And I so know what you mean about your head floating. I chopped off mid-back-length hair to chin-length recently. Lost 5 lbs! ;)
