Fast Finish

Finished

Whoo-hoo! I finished this sweater in a new record time for me, 5 days. The pattern is based on the Knitty.com Lite Brite sweater with a few alterations. There was some blocking as well to make sleeves longer and prevent the body of the sweater from rolling up. Now all that is left is to weave away all the loose threads that are in the sweater. That is the part I hate most.

I had origionally envisioned the striped part of the sweater with only green and pink but I kept having flashbacks of the show "Muppet Babies" and the nanny whose legs were the only part of her you ever saw.

Thus far I have been strong and resisted the urge to buy new yarn. Instead I have been going through my stash and taking inventory of what I do have and what I could make it into. When I see just how much is squirreled away it is kind of scary. They need more support groups for yarn addicts.

Five days?! 5 days!! OMG - I think I hate you. (Of course I don't, but I'm enjoying the feeling for a bit longer when I think... 5 days!)

Looks great. But I don't remember the Muppet Babies show - age difference, I guess. Good for you using up your stash. You're my inspiration!
