I bought this sweater with the intention of frogging it and reknitting it into something fabulous.
This it what it looked like when you frog it. It’s a bunch of little threads rather than a ply of yarn. I thought I might have to scrap the whole idea. I wound up a small skein of it to wash and stretch out.

I was able to reknit the yarn but very carefully. I may have to just knit directly from the sweater as I’m taking it apart rather than undoing the whole thing. I think this may become an Irish Hiking scarf sometime in the future.
