Blackberry Cables

A blackberry from the Fall '05 issue of Knitty.com. I made this one out of 2 strands of worsted weight Lamb's Pride in Fuchsia. I think that the photo does not do the color justice. Eventually I'll attach a closure to the front of it and it will be completed. It will go in my pile of things to do finishing on.

Minisweater

My first minisweater from Glampyre.com and I'm already started on a second one. It needed some more rows to get more coverage but you live and learn. My next one should cover my girls a little better. I made this one from Lion Brand woolease in Heather Pink. My friend Matt said and I quote: "Cover the girls? Nonsense! I think they are overcovered. What are you? Omish? Let the world have a little joy before you take their lives from them for staring at your chest."

I want to take a beginners crochet class and maybe some of the dye techniques. We will just have to wait and see. The event link is below.

I used a double strand of Lamb's Pride Worsted in Onyx and Lotus Pink. The pattern is from http://crystalpalaceyarns.com/cpy/patterns/iceland-splash-feltedhat.html. I may use some of the leftover pink to knit and felt a rose to wear on the side of the hat. We shall see.

I'm pleased with the result and now I desperately await winter. Which may never come in Texas.
